Just another name for sugar…
If you think that sugar has only one name, think again! Sugar is one of the most addictive substances, and unfortunately can cause overeating, cravings, and eventually it can promote other serious health complications too. It is something that for most people certainly should only be consumed in moderation.
It’s often so hard though to know how much sugar is in whatever you are eating. If you look at the photo above (or the PDF version of it here) then you’ll probably be shocked to see just how many different names there are for sugar! So please check the ingredient list carefully and look for those names. If they are the first, or near the first, in the ingredient list and you chose to buy that product then do be mindful of your portion size. Or maybe better don’t buy it at all! :)
